Cinderella Effect's 'Pearl' Mini-Review

The Album The album "Pearls" - from the solo project of Blutengel diva Constance Rudert - made a significant impact on my life. In essence, Cinderella Effect vocalizes her take on popular tracks, designed for your listening pleasure. The track list includes wonders like "Standing" (VNV), "Call The Ships To Port" (Covenent), "Zombie" (Cranberry), "Black No. 1" (Type O Negative), "Clone Your Lover" (Zeromancher) and more. The Production Featuring clean female vocals, a little girl sweetly singing "Loving you is like loving the dead", orchestra-like synths, and soft beats, it sometimes reminds me of Craig Armstrong's soundtrack compositions. Sedate, ambient and contemplative compositions. Definitely unlike goth-club friendly Blutengel (except for a trademark drumloop hidden in the heart warming "Outro"), candle light evenings and meditative times will gain from playing this album in the backgro
